In Between

In Between reflects a personal condition—of being suspended between places, languages, and temporalities. It suggests a state of existing in a space that is neither fully here nor there, where stability gives way to a certain uncertainty. This “in-between” can be understood as an indirect echo of the so-called grey zone: a space without active conflict, yet still shaped by its effects. It is informed not only by geography, but by memory, distance, and shifting forms of belonging—where presence remains partial.
At the same time, this state of being “hanging in the air” can also carry a sense of fragility and quiet beauty, where instability opens up moments of perception, attention, and poetic distance rather than closure.
The exhibition brings together works from different periods; alongside recent pieces developed during a residency at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris.
Vernissage: Thursday, April 30th, from 6 pm to 9 pm.
